Each piece starts with a balance between strength and weight. I handcraft using Light Weight Aluminum. — known for its durability yet surprisingly light feel. Aluminum, has a beautiful silver tone that keeps is sheen without polishing, but is also featherlight on the ears. Even my larger statement designs stay comfortable because of this careful material choice. I’ve also included and anodized Gold tone Aluminum in my collection as well. Copper although a little heavier, remains fairly light as well because of my hand formed technique.

Why I Handmake My Hooks
Each pair of Tru Creations earrings starts from raw wire — hand-shaped, smoothed, and finished by me. I don’t use mass-produced ear wires because I want full control over comfort, strength, and balance.
By handmaking my hooks, I can:
- Ensure a perfect curve and fit for each earring design
- Keep them lightweight and secure so they stay comfortable all day
- Avoid sharp edges or uneven tension that can happen with factory-made pieces
