TRU Creations began in 2014 with a passion for stones and an enthusiasm for artistic design. Cheryl’s designs are elegant, classic, and versatile and fit with any style or wardrobe. Utilizing precious metals and natural stones her unique hand-crafted accessories stand the test of time. Meticulous with detail, the quality is evident in every piece she creates, and each piece is custom handmade.
Since 2016 she began incorporating fabrics into her line, Cheryl has moved away from the traditional Necklace/Earring sets we see in most jewellery collections, by adding Bamboo Knit Scarves. The scarves added a unique textile to her collection and many customers have enjoyed the versatility of the scarves and have found unique ways to wear them.
Cheryl is passionate about keeping up with the current trends and evolving her line and in 2018 she added a Mixed Metal Collection, in which she combined a variety of metals including Sterling Silver, Copper, Aluminum, and Brass. This allowed her to create more elaborate statement earrings, sculpted bracelets, and rings.
The 2019 pandemic did not slow her down, she ventured deeper into textile work using her eco friendly fabrics created from bamboo, eucalyptus tree (Tencel) and beech tree (Micro Modal). She incorporated these fabrics into unique line of Face Masks, and Convertible face mask Scarves.
This 2021, as the world returned to normal, she had a renewed drive of creativity. She combined all her past mediums and added to it a new redesigned 2 in 1 Convertible Scarf Necklace, made from not only Bamboo but also other luxurious fabrics made of eucalyptus and beach trees (Micro Modal and Tencel).
This year 2024 marked her tenth year, and not only was her line brought once again to many local markets on Vancouver Island. But she also is focusing on bringing her designs into the online markets, and local designer stores across Canada. Making her product more available nation wide going into 2025.
